The good folks at Glooscap Archery have agreed to allow TAANS to use the traditional part of the Frozen Finger Shoot as our Winter Rendezvous on Sunday the 26th of February. Lets all try to get out and support them. This is a great shoot for all shooters, compound or TRAD - The traditional class winners will recieve awards from TAANS and the compound winners win awards from Glooscap - everyone gets good food and good times and a great shoot !! Glooscap Archery is on Irishman's road near Windsor. It is on the Road from Windsor to Brooklyn, and not very from the 102 (a couple of km's). There is a map on the AANS site to all the clubs /http://www.aans.ca/

The Winter Rendezvous was a huge success for Glooscap and tradional archery. There were 78 shooters, approximately 34 were tradional. It was great to see some faces from the past and some new traditional archers both adult and youths.
A plaque from TAANS was presented to Jody Dodge in memory of his father Garnet who passed awau suddenly in January. Garnet was a member of TAANS for a number of years and will be missed by the tradional community.
Glooscap now has a Garnet Dodge Memorial Trophy. It was presented this year by Jody Dodge and is for the tradional shooter that posts the highest single round score.
Thank you to Glooscaap for again allowing us to have the Winter Rendezvous during the Frozen Finger Shoot.
